The following foods are great additions to your diet that will boost your endocannabinoid system: Our intestines harbor many valuable microbes with which the endocannabinoid system is intimately connected. To boost your sprouts, you need fiber-rich foods like onions, leeks and artichokes. These are rich antioxidants found in many foods and are responsible for the pigments seen on some fruits and vegetables. You should eat a lot of blueberries and beets because these foods are rich in flavonoids that can enhance cannabinoid receptors. Other foods include grapes, apples, cherries and raspberries. Chocolate is not only a sweet treat, but also a derivative of the tropical cacao plant, and this fruit is rich in anandamide, a human endocannabinoid.
