Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation is a new medical cannabis company located in Pampa, Texas. The company’s goal is to obtain a license to grow medical cannabis to serve the people of Texas. TiOC is developing a 1.1 million square foot facility. The facility will be able to provide over 1.3 million pounds of annual production of medical cannabis.

Compassionate Cultivation LLC, a marijuana cultivation and dispensary company operating in the Lone Star State, has entered into a joint venture agreement to develop and build a $8 million marijuana growing facility in the town of Goodrich, Texas. The deal is with the Goodrich Municipal Utility District, which will operate the facility as a utility and will sell marijuana grown there to Compassionate Cultivation. The facility will be a 3 acre building capable of holding up to 1,000 plants with more than 500,000 square feet of growing space.

Some might argue that before 2008, Texas did not have a medical marijuana program. That is, until a year later, when the Texas legislature passed House Bill 1 which officially legalized medical marijuana. With a revised bill in February of 2015, the Texas Compassionate Use Act was enacted and allows patients to use medical marijuana if they have a doctor’s recommendation and a valid prescription..
